Fees and Deposits
Capital Fee: $1,500 paid in the first year of attendance. This fee is used for the long-term financial and physical health of the school. The Capital Fee is waived for families participating in our Adjusted Tuition program. For more information about parent work hours, see Our School > Parent Participation.
10% of tuition is due with return of the enrollment agreement for the upcoming academic year. The remaining balance is due June 1. Live Oak also offers a multi-payment option: nine payments due monthly April 1 through December 1. This option requires an automatic checking account deduction which incurs a 1% fee. Tuition Refund Insurance (1.4% of tuition this year) is also required for this plan.
Adjusted Tuition Program
Families with a moderate or high need are encouraged to apply for Live Oak’s Adjusted Tuition program. Currently, 22 percent of Live Oak families participate in this program. Tuition levels range from 10% to 95% of total tuition costs. Adjustment levels are based on the School and Student Service for Financial Aid‘s determination of need.
