Foxle's Revenge: The Symbols of the Stars

By Cole

Once there was an animal named Foxle. Foxle was just born. He had family and friends. He had a mom and a dad and three friends named Otsel, Bearrle, and Hedge Hogle (aka HH).

Foxle's parents got combined with a skunk. That's how there became the animal Foxle. He was orange with a white stripe down the middle. The classic.

Foxle had a couple of powers. If you were to see them, you wouldn't be amazed. They were like some ol' video game techniques that didn't involve shooting.

Anyway, Foxle lived on 24 Dark Willow Street inside a valley. The valley had light green moss on the great willow trees, which stayed as still as a rock while you looked at them. The sunbeams try to burst through the treetops so they can run down to meet the valley floor. The glass windows of the willow trees sparkle in the gleaming sunlight all around you.

The valley was in the Land of Green Ginger. The Land of Green Ginger was someplace in the center of the Pnult which was on the equator of Planet Nebrus. Whew! That's a lot!

By the way, Blackstone (a prairie dog that flies) killed Foxle's parents. Foxle wanted revenge. Pure revenge!

Foxle was steamed off once he found out. He was as hot as butter meltin' on a hot biscuit! I know when Foxle is mad, and when he is . . . there's no stoppin' him! Then Foxle chose to go to the place where chickens rule to save his parents. He wasn't worried. He was mad!

But there was another reason why he wasn't worried. It was only a three-mile walk. A three-mile walk of unexpectedly dangerous objects. Slowly, with his fists shaking, Foxle made his way out of the wood door. All of a sudden, a bee went by and stung him. "Ouch! Stupid bee!" he mumbled to himself, awfully mad. Then, ". . . getting kind of . . . sleepy . . ." he mumbled out loud.

All of a sudden his friend HH came over looking quite confused. "Why ya so drowsy, Foxle?" HH asked.

Foxle, still halfway asleep, said, "I dunno. Probably the bee. Now let's get some shuteye."

"Bee? What -- oh god!" said HH, annoyed. "If I were the narrator, I wouldn't put this in." said HH.

Then HH tickled Foxle's neck. He knew it was Foxle's weakness.

Foxle jumped on two feet in a jiffy. "Hey! What's the big idea, squirt!" Foxle yelled.

"Oh man! I'm supposed to be saving my parents right now!" Then he ran off to the first mile in the forest.

"He, He, He!" HH giggled as Foxle faded into the dark forest.

After three miles of breathtaking dangers, Foxle was exhausted but he did not give up yet. Foxle was still mad. Foxle found his parents in a giant blue force field with at least five puppies in it. Foxle then turned to Blackstone, who was smiling.

"Hi yah!" Foxle yelled and tried to do a karate chop on Blackstone. Blackstone easily dodged it.

All of a sudden, Blackstone unzipped a costume revealing Bearrle. "Ah ha ha ha!" Bearrle laughed. "You should have seen the look on your face!" Bearrle howled.

"Blackstone is a fake!" Foxle said. "Blackstone is a fake!" Foxle said again. "If he is a fake, I guess there's no real reason to get revenge," said Foxle softly. All of a sudden, the force field broke and Foxle's parents came tumbling down to the dusty dirt.

"Mom! Dad!" Foxle cried with joy.

"Foxle!" Foxle's parents said at the same time.

"Personal jinx!" said Foxle.

"Really?" said his mom who was hugging him.

"No!" said Foxle. "Say, can we keep one of these puppies, Bearrle? They are pretty cute."

"Sure!" said Bearrle and from that point on, Foxle never had any problems.

"You know, revenge gets you into more danger, Foxle," said his dad.

"But I didn't get into any danger!" said Foxle. acorn end
