Summer Learning, Summer Fun
Classes led by skilled instructors in arts, academics, sports, and project-based learning immerse students in a world of summer learning and summer fun. Half-day sessions, all-day sessions, and pre- and post-session extended care offer maximum flexibility for families. For more about Live Oak's philosophy of learning see How We Learn > Philosophy.
For Students Entering Kindergarten and First Grade
Weekly themes -- including frogs and toads, magical creatures, undersea adventure, and more -- support imagination and invention in a fun and educational environment. Field trips provide context for each week's activities.
For Students Entering Second through Ninth Grades
Students can mix and match morning and afternoon courses lasting from one to eight weeks to create a dynamic and individualized summer program. Example course titles include Basketball, Cooking with Chemistry, Math Mystery, Indie-Rock-Pop Band, Web Programming, The Urban Jungle, and Art Attack.
