Parent Participation : Live Oak engages parents as partners in creating a dynamic school community.
Live Oak Parents Association
As members of the Live Oak Parents Association (LOPA), parents model respect and collaboration by working with teachers and administrators to provide each student the greatest opportunity for success. Parents provide invaluable support in a variety of ways, including:
- helping in the classroom
- providing field trip transportation
- organizing and running school events and programs
- staffing work days
- serving in the Live Oak Parent Association and on the Board of Trustees
Parent Hours
Parents commit to 60 volunteer hours per family in Lower School, 30 hours per family in Middle School.
