Groves : Every Live Oak student is a member of a mixed-aged group of students.
Each Grove is a small group of students representing the range of grade levels at Live Oak. Led by faculty, the Maples, Paw Paws, Spruces, and nineteen other Groves meet monthly to facilitate each student's sense of belonging, connectedness, and responsibility in the school community.
Grove activities include leadership modeling, mentorship exercises, community projects, and service learning.
Students remain in the same Groves throughout their time at Live Oak, collectively welcoming their new kindergartners and celebrating the graduation of their eighth graders.
