All steps in the admission process are scheduled through Ravenna-Hub at https://www.ravenna-hub.com/schools/20619. Please check Ravenna for details on the format of each event.
- Attend a Tour or Open house (strongly recommended before applying)
- Submit an Application
- Parent Interview(required)
- Student Visit Day (required for applicants to grades 1–5, 7 & 8)
- Kindergarten Visit Day
All applicant parents and guardians meet for a 20-minute interview with a member of the Live Oak admissions team to share their perspective on their child, to discuss what they are seeking in a school, and to ask any questions they may have about Live Oak. Interviews may be scheduled beginning in November through mid-February.
Student Visit Day
A visit with the student allows us to get to know the applicant, to determine readiness and appropriateness of the student for our program, and for the student to find out more about Live Oak School by spending all or part of a day on campus. We offer different types of student visits, depending on the applicant’s age and grade.
Kindergarten Visit Day
It is important to us to get to know your child and to get a sense of their personality and readiness for our Kindergarten program. During the Kindergarten Visit Day, applicants to Kindergarten will spend part of a morning at Live Oak, participating in various tasks and activities. We will provide details for the format of this step in the process as soon as they become available and based on health and safety guidelines.
