Zeke Osmond, Class of 2009, is the 2019 Alumni Changemaker for his diverse commitment to local and global community service. Zeke volunteered with SFMTA’s Free Muni for Youth, Hands For Africa, and NOLS. His work aids victims of crisis and inspires youth to advocate for change.

Richard Baltimore

Richard Baltimore, class of 1996, was Alumni Changemaker of 2017 for his commitment to children and young adults. He worked at Salvation Army and Open Gym in Chicago, and Year Up in Washington, D.C. Richard is currently director of human resources for a law firm fighting workplace discrimination.

Lani Ackerman

Alumni Changemaker 2016, Lani Ackerman, graduated from Live Oak in 2000. Lani’s mission is to improve the experience of immigrants in South America. Her research focuses on the social problems that arise when people are forced to migrate from one country to another and the inequity of the process.

Ben uses soccer as a vehicle for change, providing youth with a toolkit to overcome obstacles to growth and personal success. Jessica graduated in 2000. In 2014 she won our first Alumni Changemaker Award. Jessica’s organization {she crew} is an arts empowerment program for girls aged 10-14.
