Alayna Kramer

First Grade Teacher

BS, Mills College; MS, Bank Street College

Alayna Kramer has been working with young people in a variety of ways for over 15 years. She holds an MS in Education from Bank Street College and a BA in Sociology from Mills College. For four years, Alayna was the second grade teacher at The City & Country School in Manhattan. More recently, she took leadership roles in two Brooklyn-based cooperative schools, teaching children from ages two to ten. Alayna also has experience in children’s television production, hosting and developing programming for a closed-circuit channel at Mt. Sinai Hospital. While in NYC, Alayna also worked with PBS Kids, Nick News, and the Super Sprowtz healthy eating initiative. In her spare time, she enjoys knitting, yoga, and singing show tunes.
