Audrey Soriano has been teaching for over 17 years, and is currently in her 13th year of teaching kindergarten. Audrey holds a B.S. in Human Development from the University of California, Davis, and earned her teaching credential through the Bay Area Teacher Training Institute from San Francisco State. She also has participated in numerous workshops and seminars to support the work in her classroom, including the People of Color Conference, Responsive Classroom, Project Zero, and SEED (Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity). Audrey has two daughters, both of whom attend Live Oak School. A resident of Oakland, Audrey is an avid Golden State Warriors basketball fan, and even danced professionally for the team many moons ago! Audrey is a certified Zumba instructor and teaches online Zumba classes in her free time.
