Brenda comes from Monterrey, Mexico, and is part of a big family with whom she is very close.

She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Nuevo León. She also has both a specialization in Latin American Studies as well as a Master’s Degree in International Relations from La Sorbonne University.

Brenda is an experienced teacher, having taught both Spanish and French for over 7 years in private schools such as Westhill Institute in Mexico City, French Alliance of Monterrey, Belvedere Montessori in San Francisco, and San Francisco Friends School.

She has lived and studied in Mexico, Canada, Italy, and France. She has been living in the USA since 2013 with her husband Gabriel and son Caleb. She likes to travel the world and considers herself a lifelong learner. Apart from teaching, she also loves yoga, meditation, dancing, art, theater, and hanging out with family and friends
