Carlos comes to Live Oak after moving back to his native Bay Area from Chicago, IL. He has nine years of experience as a Spanish teacher in both public and independent schools. He has published a research study and has presented on language acquisition. Previously, Carlos taught Spanish at San Domenico School in Marin County. Most recently he taught Spanish at a historic progressive public school and an independent school for gifted students in Chicago, IL. When Carlos is not teaching, he enjoys playing music, traveling, snowboarding, and hiking with his wife and beagle.
