Roz Hague-Foster, a native of the Bay Area, studied music at Oakwood University (HBCU) in Huntsville, Alabama. Roz transferred to the University of California at Davis and was mentored by Albert McNeil (choral director, ethnomusicologist, and director of the Los Angeles Jubilee Singers). While at UC Davis, she also studied piano performance with the master teacher, Lois Brandywnne. Roz changed her focus to contemporary music and obtained her Bachelors of Music at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. After working in the healthcare industry for many years, Roz returned to her roots in music and currently teaches music for grades five through eight. Roz continues to perform in the Bay Area and write music.
