Shaharazad Hamidi is the Head of the Spring Hill School – offering Montessori Early Childhood and STEAM Academy Elementary programs – where she has been a lead teacher, a board member, and a parent since 1989. Prior to her time at the Spring Hill School, she was the Head of Children’s Cultural Center in Paris, focusing on an integrated program based on arts, world languages, and music. Shaharazad holds an MS in non-profit management and leadership from Walden University, a BA in Business Administration from Tehran Business College, and teaching credentials from Sonoma State University. She also holds a degree in French Literature from Sorbonne University Paris France. Shaharazad is passionate about education and the potential of each child in thriving in the global environment. She has extensively taught innovative early childhood educational approaches internationally, including a series of teacher training in Taipei, Taiwan. Shaharazad is the spouse of Siamak, an educator himself, and a proud mother of Elica, a human rights attorney.
