Save Your Plastic for the Ridwell Plastic Drive

Eighth grader Kallisto is leading an upcoming plastic drive to help Live Oak keep plastic film out of landfills with Ridwell this spring! To participate in this limited-time recycling drive and celebrate Earth Month, bring plastic film (ziptop bags, grocery bags, bubble wrap, and lots more) to school between April 20-24 and Ridwell will make sure it stays out of landfills. It’ll be turned into new decking materials instead! Start collecting plastic film at home now so you have a bunch for the drive. Curious about recycling more from home, like the school is doing? Visit Live Oak’s detailed drive page to learn more about Ridwell—and share the page with family and friends nationwide! You can help the school earn plastic-film pickups for the entire 26/27 school year if 10 new members join Ridwell Pickups or Mail-in through our school’s drive page by May 22.
