Last Friday, the top-ranked Live Oak JV Girls Futsal team faced off against The San Francisco School in the SFAL finals, looking to cap off a remarkable season with a league title. The team played with intensity on both ends of the floor, battling through a tightly contested game that remained tied at the end of regulation. In a thrilling overtime period, Jodie F. delivered the winning goal, securing the championship for Live Oak.

In the Varsity Boys matchup, Keshav ignited the offense early and seamlessly found his teammates, helping the Lightning build a commanding lead. Finn proved to be a defensive force in the goal, making incredible saves that kept The San Francisco School off the scoreboard. Live Oak worked hard during the final stretch to secure the title with an impressive 9-4 victory.

Congratulations to both championship teams and their coaches, Katie and Camilo, for their outstanding leadership and guidance throughout the season. It was an extraordinary season for Live Oak futsal, which fielded a record-setting seven teams, six of which secured playoff berths. The teams should be immensely proud of their hard work, improvement, and dedication throughout the year. This success is a testament to the commitment of our student-athletes, the expertise of our coaching staff, and the unwavering support of our school community.
