Family Service Night Partner Highlight: Family House

This week, we would like to highlight Family House, another very special community organization that Live Oak will be supporting on Family Service Night on Wednesday, March 20, at 6:30pm. Please click here to sign up to volunteer on Family Service Night as we create care bags for the babies and client families of Family House.
Working in conjunction with UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, Family House serves as a home away from home for families of children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses by providing physical comfort and emotional support.  Nearly always at capacity, Family House can accommodate 250 people per night. Over the course of a year Family House serves more than 4,500 guests.

If you have any questions, or need additional information, please reach out to Elizabeth Brown, elizsbrown@gmail.com, or Catherine Castro, catherinecastro@homelessprenatal.org.

Live Oak's partnership with Family House is one of the many ways our students and families engage in service work that positively impacts our community.
