Lightning Volleyball Starts Strong

The Live Oak volleyball season kicked off this past week with a pair of contests. The JV Green Volleyball team rallied behind the strong serving of Jamieson, Julissa, Ben K. and Stella to take the second and third sets of a back-and-forth match as they topped the JV Sixth Grade squad 25-12, 25-13. The JV Sixth Grade team worked hard from start to finish, but in the end the JV White secured the victory in a contest of fellow Live Oak teams. Meanwhile, the JV White team got off to a strong start in their 23-25, 25-19, 15-12 win over Children’s Day School behind the solid serving of Dante and Mymona.
