Lightning Cross Country Opens Season

It was a beautiful day at Hellman Hollow in Golden Gate Park for the first cross country meet! Congratulations to all the runners on their strong showing and incredible effort throughout the race. Their dedication and hard work truly shined on the course.
Live Oak had several runners who placed in the top ten in their respective divisions. In the 7th and 8th grade division, well done to Isabel, Shoshi, Sierra, Kai, Keshav, Kenji, and Enso for their outstanding performances.

In the 5th and 6th grade division, Mia, Anna, Lillian, Sachi, Hamilton, Levi, Silas, Cooper, Bode, Mikko, and Sammy secured top ten finishes. The team’s determination and spirit set a great example as the season got underway.

Team scores were impressive as well: the 7th/8th and 5th/6th boys placed first in their divisions, while the 7th/8th and 5th/6th girls placed second in theirs.

The official results will be posted to the Athletics tile this week. Great job to everyone who participated!
