Growth and Development Highlight Cross-Country Finals

The Live Oak cross country team headed back to Hellman Hollow for the cross-country finals this past Monday. Live Oak showcased a strong performance with many runners placing in the top ten of their divisions. For the team scores, the 5th/8th grade girls and boys teams claimed second place in their divisions, and the 7th/8th grade boys team earned an impressive third place. The 7th/8th grade girls team finished sixth. Read the rest of the individual results below.
In the 7th and 8th grade boys division, Kai R. secured first place, while Kenji placed in fifth, respectively. In the 7th and 8th grade girls division, congratulations to Isabel who earned third place.

In the 5th and 6th grade girls division, Live Oak placed an impressive four runners in the top ten. Mia, Anna and Lillian took home fourth, fifth and sixth place, while Sachi secured tenth place. In the 5th and 6th grade boys division, Hamilton took home first place, while Silas finished in fifth place, respectively.

A huge thank you to coaches Carlos, Leah, and Neil for building a supportive, positive, and fun environment. Their guidance and encouragement helped each runner grow and perform their best. Thank you to Drew Scott for taking photos at the finals.
