Congratulations, Lightning Volleyball Teams!

By: Robbie Smiley, Athletic Director
What an incredible season for both our JV and Varsity volleyball squads, full of hard work, growth, and heart. Under the guidance of coaches Jackie, Karen, and Katie both teams fought their way to the finals and gave everything they had in thrilling three‑set matches. Although the outcomes didn’t go our way, their performances this season were nothing short of outstanding.
Every player showed a relentless work ethic at practice and in matches. Their persistence through tough drills and pressure-filled moments paid off all season long. From the first serve to the final point, both teams developed technically and mentally. Players improved skills, built stronger team chemistry, and grew into confident competitors.

The intensity and love for the game were visible in every set. Both teams played with fire, never backing down and always competing with poise. On and off the court, these athletes represented our community with class and sportsmanship. Their respect for opponents and gratitude toward fans showcased what it means to be true ambassadors of our school.

Reaching the finals is a huge accomplishment, one that reflects countless hours of practice, teamwork, and sacrifice. While the final matches ended in narrow losses, the season’s real victories are the skills learned, the bonds formed, and the confidence gained.

We are immensely proud of every player, coach, and supporter who made this season memorable. Congratulations on a fantastic season; the future is bright for Live Oak volleyball!
